A Message from Our Company President

April 2020

Dear Valued Client,

A month ago, due to directives by the government, we made the difficult decision to close our Glen Street office to visitors. Although our physical office is closed temporarily, each Associate has a remote workstation and has not stopped working to serve our insureds. Our operating hours will remain Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Please feel free to contact your representative, click here for our company directory.

In the untimely event of a claim, Claims Manager Becky DuPrey is available at 518-793-3445 ext. 127

If you would like to make a payment, please call 518-793-3444.

Commercial insurance clients with MyAOGF, have 24/7 online access to policy documents, including certificates of insurance and Auto ID Cards.

Thank you to our clients for your continued support and to all essential workers for keeping everyone moving during this turbulent time.

Wishing you continued health and safety,

Chuck Gohn
President

For New York Policyholders

Due to COVID-19, the NYS DMV office has limited operations. It is important to note that before ending a vehicle’s liability insurance coverage, plates must be surrendered to the DMV. Review new procedures on surrendering your vehicle’s plates.

A recent Executive Order issued by Governor Cuomo, together with recent amendments to the insurance and banking regulations for certain policies written by admitted insurance carriers are outlined in the link below:

IMPORTANT: Notice to New York Policyholders

UPDATE: (May 11, 2020 ) Gov. Cuomo has extended the executive order that prohibits insurance carriers from terminating some policies and requires them to be lenient with policyholders suffering financially from the COVID-19 pandemic until June 6, 2020. Click here for details.

Please note these guidelines do not apply if your policy is written in an Excess and Surplus Lines (E&S) market.
